Transforming City Infrastructure

In Sunderland city centre, the programme has enabled the deployment of 5G-enabled smart CCTV.

The system connects eleven advanced cameras between Keel Square and the Stadium of Light, using analytics to monitor pedestrian activity and deliver enhanced public safety.

Operating across Sunderland’s private 5G network, the system provides real-time insights into the city’s control room and supports coordination with partners including Northumbria Police and Sunderland AFC on major event days.
