Do you have a mobile phone or a tablet and would like to know how to use it. Pop along to the café, grab a cuppa and chat to our friendly Smart City Team, who’ll be able to show you basic top tips and help you use your device.
eSports
Come along and meet Nathan, who’ll be running the eSports session. Try Rocket League, a combination of football and rocket-powered cars. Play for fun, or take part in the competition to win prizes. Suitable for all age groups.
3D in Action
Try your hand at designing models using the latest software, then print it out using 3D printers to bring your creation to life.
Repair Your Phone
Learn how to save money by attending a workshop to see how to repair your own phone. You’ll learn a new skill, whilst helping our planet through extending the life of your phone. It’s a win, win.

Try our state of the art VR Headsets that immerse you into a virtual world by covering your eyes and ears with a display and audio system. Amy, will be able to get you set up to explore new realms, or experience breathtaking landscape, be prepared to be amazed in this digital adventure.

Visit our photographer expert, and learn more about how artificial intelligence can enhance your photographs, you can also gain a birds eye view of Washington by potentially piloting a drone across Concord.

Suitable for all age groups, this accessible fun session will be delivered by Lizzie from Washington Library, who will support and show you how following a few simply instructions can result in creating an interactive robot out of Lego.
Stop Motion
Gemma is potty about Wallace and Gromit, so pop along to her workshop to learn about the techniques behind the camera, and demonstrate stop motion in action.
All activities are free and suitable for age groups 6+, and will be repeated during the day and late afternoon. Building Blocks is fully accessible, and provides access to toilets, changing facilities and an onsite café.
